“End Zone Mafia” are the Flag Football Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “No Punt Intended” 5-0!
“End Zone Mafia” entered the championship as the #2 seed and the favorites to take home the championship. Their offense was the main reason they finished the season as the second seed, but their real MVP during the championship was their defense. “End Zone Mafia” and “No Punt Intended” met earlier during the regular season and that game was an absolute nail biter, so everyone was expecting the championship to be the same. “End Zone Mafia” came out determined on the offensive end and scored a quick touchdown to take an early lead. “No Punt Intended” kept applying pressure to “End Zone Mafia’s” defense in the first half, but “No Punt Intended” was unable to score a touchdown. The second half started out the same way the first half did with “End Zone Mafia” marching down the field and scoring a touchdown. “No Punt Intended” kept the game competitive but “End Zone Mafia” played tremendous defense from start to finish and didn’t allow “No Punt Intended” to score a single point. “No Punt Intended” played their hearts out but nothing could stop “End Zone Mafia” during the championship!
