“Block Party” are the Wednesday Intermediate Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘23 Season, after defeating “Diamond Dogs” 2-0!
“Block Party” entered the playoffs with an undefeated record and looked to stay that way after the Championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Diamond Dogs” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Block Party” was able to come together and force “Diamond Dogs” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-9. “Block Party” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Diamond Dogs” played their hearts out, but “Block Party” was just too hot to handle. “Block Party” went on to win the second match 21-18 and was able to finish the season undefeated!
Congratulations to “Block Party” on becoming the Wednesday Intermediate Volleyball Champions of the Fall ‘23 season!
