Softball - Mondays (Late Spring '14)

Our Late Spring Monday softball season came to a conclusion last night with a highly anticipated showdown between the leagues top teams, The Boozers in the Outfield and Pitches Ain't Hit.

Pitches Ain't Hit entered the title game as a slight favorite, courtesy of their two regular season wins over The Boozers including a 1-0 pitching duel in their most recent contest.

The third time proved to be the charm for The Boozers as they were able to negate Pitches Ain't Hit's powerful offense behind a stellar pitching performance, while swinging hot bats themselves. After falling behind early 1 to nothing, The Boozers came back with a vengeance, putting up 6 runs in the top of the third inning and never looking back. Pitches Ain't Hit put up a fight and nearly climbed back into the game, but was only able to plate a couple of runs. Green put it away in the top half of the final inning and won 10 to 3.
