“Plant the Spike” are the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Set it and Forget it” 2-0!
“Plant the Spike” entered the playoffs as one of the favorites to win the championship, but they had to defeat a very formidable “Set it and Forget it” team before they could be crowned the champions! The first set started out as a tight match with both teams exchanging points between good hits and great serves. However, “Plant the Spike” was able to come together and force “Set it and Forget it” to commit errors that allowed them to win the first set 21-16. “Plant the Spike” continued their dominance into the second set by performing bump, set and spike to perfection! “Set it and Forget it” played their hearts out, but “Plant the Spike” was too hot to handle. “Plant the Spike” went on to win the second match 21-11 and finished the season as the Champions of Thursday volleyball!
Congratulations to “Plant the Spike” on becoming the Thursday Volleyball Champions of the Late Spring ‘23 season!
