“Dragons” are the Thursday Soccer Champions of the Late Spring ‘22 season, after defeating “The Avengers” 4-1!
It was the playoffs for Thursday soccer last night, and it did not disappoint! The “Dragons” and “The Avengers” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! Everyone was expecting a great match between these two talented teams, and that's exactly what they got! The championship started off very evenly matched, but “Dragons” found their groove and scored two impressive goals before the end of the first half. “The Avengers” came out determined in the second half and kept applying pressure on the “Dragons” defense, but the “Dragons” stayed strong on the defensive end all game long. “The Avengers'' were finally able to break through “Dragons” defense and score a goal of their own, but their defense could not stop the “Dragons”. “Dragons” scored two more goals towards the end of the game and they never looked back from there. “The Avengers” played their hearts out, but the “Dragons” proved that they are the best team in the league!
Congratulations to “Dragons” on becoming the Thursday Soccer Champions and winners of $50 to Blue Cue!
