“Ball Hawks” are the Sand Volleyball Champions of the Late Summer '21 Season, after defeating “That’s What She Set”” 2-1!
“Ball Hawks” entered the playoffs as the #2 seed and one of the favorites to take home the championship. The “Ball Hawks” amazing teamwork gave them a lot of confidence entering the championship, but they had to go up against a very formidable “That’s What She Set” team. “Ball Hawks” started off on fire and won the first game 21-15. It looked like the “Ball Hawks” were going to win the championship in two games, but “That’s What She Set” came out firing on all cylinders in the second game. “That’s What She Set” won the second game 21-19 and forced a do or die game 3! The third game was a nail biter all the way till the end. Both teams were performing to the best of their abilities and neither team was backing down. It was tied 19-19 and the “Ball Hawks” were able to score two miraculous points to win the championship 21-19! It was an amazing game for both teams.
Congratulations to “Ball Hawks” on becoming the Sand Volleyball Champions and winners of $50 to Field House and Sports Pub!
