"Plan B" is our Wednesday Ultimate League champion thanks to a tight win in the championship game last night. Their 12-10 win over "Red Solo Huck" was close from start to finish, but "Plan B" would eventually stay on top.
Throughout the season "Plan B" was no stranger to close contests, with four of their regular season games being decided by one score or less. They went 3-1 in those battles, showing their prowess for pulling out wins in tense situations. Besides that one-point loss, their only other one, a 9-7 defeat, came at the hands of "Red Solo Huck" in a game where the offense for "Plan B" just didn't have it. Other than that there were a bevy of top-notch performances, letting the league know they were in it to win it.
Given their great clutch play it's no wonder "Plan B" was able to pick up the 12-10 win when it mattered most in the championship. Before the loss "Red Solo Huck" held an undefeated 6-0-1 record and sat atop the lead, but their plans for a perfect season were thwarted thanks to a determined "Plan B" squad.
Congratulations to "Plan B" on a fantastic season! Enjoy the win, and bask in the glory that come with being the Xoso Wednesday Night Ultimate champions.
