*ROCKLIN* 3v3 Basketball - Sundays (Late Summer '26)

Sunday night at Clarke Dominguez Gym brought another exciting basketball season to a close, as the top six teams battled through the playoff bracket for one final shot at the championship! With plenty of competitive matchups, an early upset, and a showdown between the top two seeds, the night had everything you could ask for. But when the final buzzer sounded, it was #1 Blouses who walked away with the Sunday Basketball title! 🏆🔥

The quarterfinals kicked things off with #4 99 Problems but a Swish Ain't One taking on #5 Team B. Team B wasn't letting their lower seed get in the way, pulling off a 2–1 upset to advance to the semifinals. Meanwhile, #3 Broken Ankles faced off against #6 Misfits and took care of business with a 2–0 victory, securing their spot in the next round and keeping their championship hopes alive.

In the semifinals, the top two seeds entered the action after earning first-round byes. #1 Blouses faced Team B, whose upset run came to an end as Blouses delivered a convincing 2–0 victory to advance to the championship. On the other side of the bracket, #2 H Flyers had their hands full against Broken Ankles. The #3 seed wasn't going down without a fight, but H Flyers managed to hold on for a 2–1 victory, punching their ticket to the finals and setting up the ultimate #1 vs. #2 showdown! 🔥

With the championship on the line, both teams had earned their place in the final, but Blouses were determined to prove why they finished the regular season at the top of the standings. The #1 seed came out firing in the opening game, cruising to a 21–7 victory and putting themselves just one win away from the title. H Flyers needed a response to keep their championship hopes alive, but Blouses weren't about to let up. They followed up their dominant first game with another impressive performance, taking the second 21–9 to complete the 2–0 sweep and officially claim the Sunday Basketball championship!

From earning the top seed to sweeping both their semifinal and championship matchups, Blouses made their case as the team to beat all season long. They allowed just 16 total points across the two championship games, putting an exclamation point on an already impressive playoff run. H Flyers put together a strong season and earned their spot in the final, but when it mattered most, Blouses had the final say!
