*ROCKLIN* Volleyball - Fridays: Women's Intermediate (Summer '26)

The Women’s Intermediate Volleyball playoffs took over Clarke Dominguez Gym on Friday night, and after a pair of semifinal matchups, it was #2 Pancake Posse who walked away with the championship! 🏐🔥

The semifinals featured #1 Kiss My Ace against #4 Gold Diggers, with Gold Diggers advancing to the championship via forfeit and earning themselves a spot in the final despite entering the night as the #4 seed. On the other side of the bracket, #2 Pancake Posse faced #3 Chewblocka, and Pancake Posse left no doubt about who was moving on. They took care of business with a 2–0 sweep, setting up a championship showdown between the #2 and #4 seeds.

And Pancake Posse came out SWINGING in the final. 😳 They absolutely dominated the opening set, cruising to a 21–3 victory and immediately putting themselves one set away from the title. Gold Diggers regrouped and put together a much stronger fight in the second, but Pancake Posse continued to control the match. They closed out Set 2 with a 21–15 win, completing the 2–0 sweep and securing the championship!

From a semifinal sweep to allowing just 18 total points across two sets in the final, Pancake Posse put together one heck of a championship night. 🥞🔥 The #2 seed finished the playoffs without dropping a set and ended their season on top!

Congratulations to Pancake Posse, your Women’s Intermediate Volleyball Champions! 🏆🏐🎉
