SAND Volleyball - Tuesdays (Summer '26)

Some teams have to fight through a bracket to prove they're the best. Sets on the Beach didn't need one... they'd already proven it every Tuesday night at Howe Park. Our Tuesday night Sand Volleyball league (Summer '26) wrapped up its season last night, with the top two teams in the standings meeting head-to-head for the championship, and the No. 1 seed sealed a wire-to-wire perfect season with a 2-0 win over Big Dig Energy.

Sets on the Beach ran the table at 8-0 in the regular season, topping the four-team league by three full wins over runner-up Big Dig Energy (5-3) and finishing with a league-best +19 set differential. With no formal playoff bracket this season, the championship came down to a straightforward rematch of the regular season's two best teams — and the result followed the form: Sets on the Beach closed it out in straight sets, 2-0, to finish the year undefeated.

It was a fitting finale for a team that had already beaten Big Dig Energy twice during the regular season, taking one match in a tighter 2-1 decision and the other in a 3-0 sweep.
