Coed Volleyball

XOSO Coed Volleyball is a great way to meet new people and have some fun! If you haven't played volleyball, don't worry, it's easy to learn and a great social game.

We will fill up fast, so don't wait long if you want to make sure to get in on the action.

Head to your league bar after your game! We promise there will be great deals, cheap drinks, games and lots of fun. Talking trash over a beer after your game is a great way to make new friends.

Congratulations to our advanced and beginning Fall 2009 Volleyball Champions: "Spiked Punch" and "We'd Hit That!"

Last night we wrapped up our 2nd volleyball season with some great finals match ups.

In the advanced division, "Spiked Punch" squared off against the number one seed, "The SWAT Team". After winning game one, the second game was at 24-23 when "The SWAT Team" tied it up, forcing one of the teams to win by two. After furious rallies, "Spiked Punch" came up with the final two points, and prevailed 26-24 to win their Chipotle burritos.

"Last Call" wins it all!

"Last Call" appeared to be the favorites from day one this season, and they managed to bring it home last night. After cruising through the other teams throughout the season, they faced their toughest match last night in the championship.

In the semi-finals, team "Side Out" ran up against the juggernaut, "Last Call" and gave it their best, but perished.

In the other matchup, the black team, "Volley Ringwald" defeated the "Xoso True Volleywood Story" to move on to face "Last Call".

Our 2nd season of volleyball in downtown Sacramento! If we have enough teams, we'll have an advanced division and a beginner/intermediate division.

Games are Thursday nights between 7-10pm.

Sofia is our league bar, only two blocks from the gym!

Open Coed Volleyball Night

In preparation for the upcoming XOSO volleyball league, come join us to sharpen or develop your volleyball skills. XOSO member Ron Leslie has offered to utilize his resources though his Sacramento Volleyball Group so that we can practice and play.

There will be two or three volleyball nets set up on a grass field in William Land Park (corner of Sutterville Rd. and Freeport Blvd. (Village Green).

For those that have never played volleyball, there will be some basic instruction on rules, court positioning and hitting.
