"We So Corny" are the Tuesday Cornhole Champions for Spring '24, clinching the title with a 3-1 win over "Gone Fishin'"!
The action at Track 7 was intense as the playoffs kicked off with the Quarterfinals, leading to an epic night of cornhole. The underdogs stole the spotlight, with #6 seed "We So Corny" and #4 seed "Gone Fishin'" advancing to the Semifinals. In the first Semifinal, "Gone Fishin'" faced off against the top seed, "The Legend Continues...," in a nail-biter that went down to the wire. Meanwhile, "We So Corny" battled #2 seed "Sinkin' and Drinkin'," and also emerged victorious in a close contest. Both Semifinals required five games to determine the winners, proving just how competitive this league is.
With two lower-seeded teams making it to the Championship, fans were in for a thrilling matchup. "We So Corny" were determined to take home the title after coming up just short last season, while "Gone Fishin'" was equally driven to capture the crown. The Championship showdown was intense, with "Gone Fishin'" putting up a strong fight. However, "We So Corny" stepped up when it mattered most, winning the final two games to secure their first-ever title.
