Who says adults can't have recess?

Since 2008, Xoso Sport & Social League has been active in the community by donating time, money, and volunteer manpower. See who we've helped below. Want to get involved and volunteer? We're always looking for ways to use our network of young professionals to help out by lending a hand for good causes. We know we can't volunteer for everything that comes along, but every bit helps!

Hey everyone! If you're feeling giving and thankful and want to help out the Sacramento Food Bank with their 18th annual Run to Feed the Hungry this Thanksgiving, they could use your help!

Volunteers are needed for the 18th annual Run to Feed the Hungry, the largest fundraiser for Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS)! Volunteers make this special event possible and are needed on Thanksgiving Day to help with tasks ranging from Water Stations to Course Monitoring to Cleanup.

A year ago, the River City Food Bank had a devastating fire to their building. They've been working out of a temporary location for the past year, and should be moving into their new digs soon!

RCFB is a fantastic organization and is the only Sacramento area food bank open every weekday to anyone experiencing hunger from anywhere in Sacramento County. They offer nutritionally balanced 3-day emergency food to people in need.

We need about 14 volunteers to help out with Hope Productions "Love Fashion. Give Hope." fashion show on September 8th.

Shift is 5pm-8:30pm. Various positions needed, including registration table, wine pouring, raffle sales, and more.

100% of proceeds raised will benefit Hope Productions, a great non-profit organization in Sacramento that provides support and training at no cost for local charities serving children and youth.

Here's another chance to help one of our favorite Sacramento non-profit groups, the Sacramento Food Bank!

They'll be having their annual Fun in the Sun fair on Saturday, July 16th, and they're looking for 40-50 volunteers (20-25 for two shifts).

The fair is part resource fair and part family fun day. There will be multiple non-profits doing outreach, as well as children's activities, entertainment, BBQ, and a giant blow-up bouncy waterslide! Apparently, the staff and volunteers have been known to join in once the guests have gone.

Hey Xoso Volunteers!

The United Way is putting on a Toilet Paper drive and they need some volunteers! The 3rd annual LIVE UNITED Toilet Paper Drive will benefit many of United Way’s 142 certified nonprofit partners who spend thousands of dollars on toilet paper each year.

Hey everyone!

We've been wanting to put our awesome network of young, active Sacramentans to good use for the community for a while now, and here's our first big event.

We need 25 volunteers to help work the "Race for the Ring" benefiting the Sacramento Food Bank. We'll be working the setup shift in the morning because Xoso is sponsoring the West Coast Brew Fest in the afternoon. The shift work will include minor set up (tables/tents) as well as team check-in (waivers, checking IDs, giving wristbands).

Date:
06/18/2011 - 10:00am - 4:00pm

Xoso is sponsoring Metro Edge's dodgeball and volleyball tournament fundraiser, benefitting Junior Achievement on Saturday, June 18th. Junior Achievement helps students learn entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and workforce readiness. They would love it if there were some Xoso players or a Xoso team playing too. They also will have a beer garden, DJ, Chipotle, and cider from Two Rivers Cider!
