A Narrow Victory

"deBOCCEry" is our latest Bocce champion, eeking out a 15-13 championship game win! Overall they'd finish 7-1, losing just once in week 2 before running the table the rest of the way.

Despite their strong record, "deBOCCEry" wasn't the favorite to win the title. They entered the playoffs as the second-best team from the regular season, with "Bad and Bocce" besting them for the first spot. It was only fitting that these top two teams would meet in the finals though, thanks to identical 15-6 first round wins.

Entering the championship game "Bad and Bocce" certainly had the mental edge due to a 15-10 win over "deBOCCEry" in the regular season. However, our eventual champs were able to overcome that thanks to some great tossing combined with their strong mental fortitude. When the pressure was greatest at the end of the match, they rose to the occasion. Congratulations to "deBOCCEry" for winning the title, and we wish them the best of luck as they switch back over to kickball.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
