Run With It

"We Got the Runs" is our Wednesday Night Downtown Division Champion! A consistent contender season after season, they couldn't put it all together when the playoffs rolled around. That was until Wednesday night...

In the first round "We Got the Runs" faced the undefeated "Sweep the Leg". To say this was a tough matchup would be an understatement, with "Sweep the Leg" winning the championship in their last 3 seasons. Even more impressive, they had only lost 1 game in those last three seasons. But, "We Got the Runs" was up for the challenge, defeating the Wednesday night juggernaut 7-4 in an incredible upset as the #4 seed in the bracket.

And, as incredible as that win was, it wasn't even for the championship. For that "We Got the Runs" faced off against "Friendship to Friendship", another consistently good team season after season.

In that championship game "We Got the Runs" got back to what they are good at; timely runs and great defense. They'd been doing it all season finishing with a +22 run differential, good second in the league. In the final they allowed just one run throughout the game, and picked up 4 runs to seal the deal.

Congratulations to "We Got the Runs" on a fantastic playoff night to cap off their season, a much deserved win!

B-Lieve It!

"Team B" is our Midtown Division champion after a strong showing the championship game. Despite their tough competition, "Team B" obliterated "Just the Kick" by 10 runs in the final, putting the league on notice and letting everyone know why they deserved to be the champion.

Oddly enough, their first round opponent "Kick It and Quit It" was the one who gave up more of a fight. Unlike the final, "Team B" was locked in a pitcher's duel where they were only able to score three runs. But, their defense pulled through and allowed just one run, seeing them through to the final.

They saved the best for last, and In the final "Team B" was able to get their offense going in a big way, picking up 16 runs and blowing out a formidable opponent. It was by far their largest offensive output of the season, but one that was perfectly timed for the championship. Congratulations to them on a successful kickball season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
