“Ballz to the Wallz” are the Downtown Kickball Champions of the Ltat ‘23 Season, after defeating “Stevie Kicks” 3-1!
The top two teams battled it out on Wednesday night to see who would be crowned the champions of kickball, and it did not disappoint. “Ballz to the Wallz” had already taken down “Stevie Kicks” in their last match during the regular season so they came into the game with a lot of confidence, but “Stevie Kicks” was not going down without a fight. The first few innings were a defensive battle with both teams only scoring one run. It was anyone's game, until “Ballz to the Wallz” scored two more clutch runs late in the game to give them the lead. “Stevie Kicks” kept it close till the end, but “Ballz to the Wallz” defense stayed strong in the last few innings and prevented “Stevie Kicks” from scoring another run. “Ballz to the Wallz” incredible teamwork and impressive defense gave them the edge they needed to win the championship 3-1!
