Super Ace and Wilson win their Volleyball Leagues!

After winning the Spiker league title two seasons ago when they were known as Ace in Your Face, Super Ace returned to Xoso volleyball after a season off and repeated as champs with a 2-0 win over Empire Spikes Back. The road back to the championship was rocky as Super Ace (5-3 regular season) managed to squeeze into the playoffs with a 3-0 win in the final week of the regular season and were awarded the #3 seed. Riding their late season momentum, they knocked off #2 Smokin' Aces (6-2) in the first round of the playoffs 2-0. #1 Empire Spikes Back (6-2) defeated #4 Will Bump For Sets 2-0 in the other first round matchup.
Wilson: Bumper Volleyball Champs Wilson claimed their second Bumper league title with a 2-0 win over Blackout. Wilson (5-3) started out the night as the #4 seed but shocked #1 Fighting Monkeys (7-1) with a 2-0 win. In the other semifinal, #2 Moobs (6-2) and #3 Blackout (6-2) played the most dramatic playoff match of either division with Blackout pulling out a 2-1 victory by virtue of a 21-19 score in the third and final game. A tired Blackout couldn't keep up with the generally mistake-free Wilson team in the championship match, falling in straight games 2-0.
