Sacramento, CA - In the Bumper League volleyball playoffs last night, Sets with Strangers faced off with Fireball Bob in the semi-finals. Sets with Strangers came in as the top seeded team, and won the first two games to take the match.

In the other semi-final match, between Kiss My Pass and Served Red Hot, Served Red Hot won the first game, only to see Kiss My Pass rally back to tie the match at one game apiece. Served Red Hot answered back in the third and final game, to meet Sets with Strangers in the championship.

On Tuesday night, with sweat dripping in the air (yes, that's how it felt) two teams wrapped up the Xoso Sacramento Winter 2011 Volleyball season with a win.

What a way to close out the year!

Last night eight teams met to determine two champions... one for our Spiker league and one for the Bumper league.

On Tuesday night, Fong Nation emerged victorious over the Flaming Balls in the Bumper league showdown of the top two teams. It came down to the final week of the season to determine who would match up in the finals, with both the Drunk Sets and Sac Attack failing to advance despite finishing with 5-3 season records.

In the finals, Fong Nation prevailed, avenging their regular season loss to the Flaming Balls. After losing 2-1 in the regular season, they took control of the 2nd game early and went on to win the first two games of the best of 3 match.
