Back to Back!

"United" is our Tuesday night soccer champion, defeating "Plan B" by the score of 2-1. The win notches their second straight title!

It was a night of 2-1 scorelines, with "United" accounting for two of them. Their first win, a nail-biter over the #3 seeded "Tinky Winkies", was definitely a good one. However, that paled in comparison to their championship win over rival "Plan B" the game after.

As one of our perennially top teams, "United" expected to be here. That doesn't mean it was an easy route though. In fact, they had a pretty rough start to the season, dropping the season-opener to "Plan B" 3-1 followed by a a 3-2 loss to "Hooligans". While both losses were to eventual playoff teams, it was still a rough beginning to a promising season.

"United" didn't let the losses get them down though! They fought back into the thick of things, winning 5 straight games and solidly securing their spot as the #2 seed. a 1-1 draw to end the regular season against "Plan B" showed just how far they had come in the time between their two games.

Overall "United" finishes with a 7-2-1 record, along with a +9 point differential. That is second to "Plan B", who finished with a whopping +17. In the end all that really matters though is the championship win!

Congratulations to "United" on their second straight title!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
