"Slappin' Balls" is our Sunday Super Social Division champion after an intense 22-14 win in the championship game. Ending with a 6-1 record, their lone loss on the season came to "49 Shades of Gray" in the last night of the regular season.
Heading into the playoffs "Slappin' Balls" was the top team, receiving the 1st round bye as they got to watch the 2 vs 3 matchup and scout their opponent. Thanks to an upset by "Just the Tip?" over the second place "49 Shades of Gray", our eventual champion didn't have to face the one team they had just lost to the week prior. Instead they were able to face a team they had defeated earlier in the season.
In the championship game "Slappin' Balls" did what they had been doing all season, taking a 22-14 win thanks to a few touchdowns and some timely defense. They didn't score a ton, but it was more than their defense needed to secure the win. Congratulations to "Slappin' Balls" an a fantastic season!

"West Coast Stoolies" is our Sunday Flag Football champion in their first appearance this season. The team they defeated, "Golden Bears", ends as the runner-up for the second straight season.
Overall our champ finished with a 6-1 record including a strong +69 point differential. Through the season their biggest competition was "Golden Bears", with the season going series tied a 1-1 prior to Sunday night's championship game.
Contrary their high-scoring affairs in the regular season, it was defense that ruled in the championship game. In the end the "West Coast Stoolies" had the better defense and were able to hold the high-scoring "Golden Bears" to just one touchdown all night. Overall it was a 20-8 win, sealing the deal as our latest Sunday Flag Football champion. Congratulations to "West Coast Stoolies" on the championship season!
