"Blue's Teal"s It In Final Inning

"Blue's Teal" is our Tuesday Softball Champion following an intense night of softball for them. They had to win their first game to get into the championship, and once they were in they made it count.

At the beginning of the night it was Blue's Teal who sat in second place with a 'win and they're in' scenario; win their final regular season game, and into the playoffs they went. Well, they did just that by the slimmest of margins by picking up an 8-7 win against "CU Tuesday, Pitches".

Just one week ago these two met in a heated regular season game that ended in an 11-10 win for "Blue's Steal" thanks to plenty of offense from both squads. That ended up being a bit of foreshadowing...

In the championship game things were neck-and neck, with "One Hit Wonders" and Blue's Teal" picking up runs to stay within a few runs of each other. Eventually we'd reach the final inning with "One Hit Wonders" ahead. However, some bad defense in the form of errors led to "Blue's Teal" tying the game and eventually pulling ahead in the last inning to win the title.

Congrats to "Blue's Teal" on their championship win and we can't wait to see what they have in store for next season!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
