Sometimes It's Better to be Lucky AND Good

"Lucky Pitches 2" is our Monday Softball champion for a second straight season, proving that they though they may be lucky, they are a great team as well. They wrap up this quickie league with a 6-0 record, including a pair of tough wins to the league's runner up, "Dingers".

Despite winning the title by two games, it wasn't always an easy road to the top for our champs. "Dingers" was hot on their heels all season, and even just one slip up could have made a difference. But, "Lucky Pitches 2" stayed at the top of their game throughout the season, taking care of business every step of the way. They did find themselves in a close 8-5 win in week three against "The Rooks", though they were able to come of of that game with the 'w'.

They had their share of offensive explosions too, winning 50% of their games by a 10-run margin. In the end it was their great bats that separated them from the pack, scoring a league-high 62 runs in their six games. All in all another fantastic season for the defending champions.

Congratulations to "Lucky Pitches 2" on their title defense. We hope they have a great offseason, and we look forward to having them defend their title once more next year!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
