Stone Cold Winners

The "Bowling Stones" are our latest Tuesday Night Bowling champions following a decisive championship game that left no doubts about who was the top dog.

Entering the night it was hard to tell who would end up champion, but you had to think "Stephen Hawking's School of Dance" had the edge after defeating "Bowling Stones" earlier in the season 4-0. Despite that previous contest it was the "Bowling Stones" who looked great all night and sealed the 4-0 sweep in the biggest game of the season.

Overall it was an up and down season for "Bowling Stones" who would look great one week, and struggle the next. Still, they managed to battle their way up to second place and into the championship game. From there they made their final game count, sweeping the top team by the score of 4-0.

In game one the "Bowling Stones" were led by Missy and her phenomenal 181, bowling 45 pins above average. Kyle was almost as good picking up a score of 140, nearly 25 pins above average. In game two Rod was their high scorer with a 156. Overall a great team performance. On the other side of things it wasn't that "Stephen Hawking's School of Dance" did terrible, though a couple of players failed to hit their average in either game. Instead, it was more about how well the "Bowling Stones" bowled as a team.

Congratulations to the "Bowling Stones" on finally getting to the championship podium, we know it's been a long time coming! We hope to see them again soon in a bid to defend their title!
