Baby Got Back to Back to Back Titles

"Sir Kicks A Lot" is our Downtown Division champion on Wednesday nights following a couple of nail-biters. The win marks their third championship in as many seasons and at this point are on the verge of being considered a dynasty!

The night got started as "Sir Kicks A Lot", our top seed from the regular season, took on "Friendship to Funship!" If you remember the two faced off last season in the finals for the Downtown Division with "Sir Kicks A Lot" winning by the slimmest of margins. That would happen again tonight with "Sir Kicks A Lot" picking up a 6-5 win and securing another birth in the championship game.

On the other side of the bracket "Final Won" looked good in their win over "Our Ballz Go Deep" as they picked up eight runs against the second-best team from the regular season. No doubt they were feeling confident heading into the championship after that solid win.

Unfortunately for "Final Won" they ran into the juggernaut known as "Sir Kicks A Lot". Once again our two-time champions found themselves in an incredibly close game, but once again they were able to come out with the win. Unlike "our Ballz Go Deep", "Sir Kicks A Lot" was able to hold the offense of "Final Won" to just a couple of runs, and that made all the difference in this defensive struggle. When all was said and done, the three runs scored by "Sir Kicks A Lot" would be just enough for them to take yet another title.

Congratulations to "Sir Kicks A Lot" on their clutch performances tonight in a couple of one-run games. But, most importantly, congrats on the three-peat!

Lean, Green, Kickball Machine

"Young Moolah Baby" is our Wednesday Kickball Midtown Division champion following a strong performance in the playoffs, especially on defense. Through their two games last night our champs allowed just three runs, including just one allowed in the championship, en route to convincing 8-1 victory.

Entering the night as the top seed "Young Moolah Baby" took on #4 "Puka Shell Posse." The last time these two met they played to a 1-1 draw, but tonight it was a different story. As expected the top seed picked up a solid 6-2 win, securing their spot in the championship.

In the other half of our bracket "The Cheese Balls" and "Suh Kewwl" battled it out in a hotly contested game. It took extra innings before "Suh Kewwl" was able to break the 2-2 deadlock in the eighth inning to pick up a game-deciding third run. With the 3-2 victory for them, our championship was set.

Having just finished an eight inning game before the championship game, "Suh Kewwl" looked worn out and tired. "Young Moolah Baby" took advantage of the opportunity and quickly jumped all over their opponent. Though "Suh Kewwl" was able to get in a few good innings, they could only muster one run the entire game while "Young Moolah Baby" got hot at the plate and scored eight runs. When the dust had settled, "Young Moolah Baby" won by the score of 8-1.

Congrats to the indy team "Young Moolah Baby" on a great season, battling through an number of tough opponents in the playoffs to take what was rightfully theirs, the championship.

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
