Scary Good

"Spooky Ghosts" is our Wednesday Ultimate league champion following a strong season where they were able to man-handle opponents. Overall they would finish with a +38 point differential, much higher than any other team this season. Couple that with a 14-10 win in last night's championship game during position week and it was a great run from start to finish for them.

Throughout the season the two team in our championship were in a class of their own. By season's end they were the only two teams who finish above .500. We knew we'd be in for a treat as well with these two squads having split their games earlier in the season. Oddly enough, each of the wins was only by three points as well. Neck-and-neck all season, it was only fitting that a championship game would decide who got the Ultimate (pun intended) bragging rights.

In a hard fought battle "Spooky Ghosts" was able to edge out "Winning is the New Black" in a game that saw both teams bring their all. Perhaps "Spooky Ghosts" was finally able to crack stout defense of "Winning is the New Black" by putting up a season-high 14 points on them. Maybe it was also their top-notch defense which has been there all season. Either way, they were able to take down their season-long nemesis in the most important game of all, the championship game.

Congrats to "Spooky Ghosts" on a great title run from start to finish!

How are Standings Calculated?
Winners receive 2 points, each team in a tie receives 1 point, and losers receive 0 points. If you forfeit, you lose a point, so don't forfeit! Plus, two forfeits make your team ineligible for playoffs.

Teams are ranked by (1) Ranking Points, (2) Head to Head Two Teams Only*, (3) Point Differential, (4) Coin Toss.

Head to Head is only used if there are two teams tied. Ties involving 3+ teams disregard H2H and move on to point differential for the tiebreaker.
º Forfeits
Parenthesized numbers indicate wins or losses by forfeit.
When calculating Ranking Points, forfeits may be weighted differently than normal wins and losses.
