Spring 2010 Volleyball Champions!

Last night the spring volleyball season concluded with some intense, back and forth battles between the top two teams in both our Bumper and Spiker divisions.

In the first game of the night, Block Party got revenge. In the previous, regular season matchup they faced off against Serves You Right, the defending Bumper league champions and lost, 3-0. Last night they redeemed themselves in winning the first two games of the best of 3 match to earn their free Chipotle. Congratulations Block Party!

In the Spiker division, Sets and the City made it through the season undefeated 8-0 in match play. They won each match 3-0 except for one, against Bottoms Up, Flip Cup they gave up a measly game (although the final game came down to the last point), winning 2-1. That regular season match proved to be foreshadowing. Last night all three games came down to the wire, with Sets and the City winning the 1st and losing the 2nd game. In the final game they prevailed again, 25-23, to win the Spiker championship!
