Hot Dogs and Tacos win Thursday!

Last night was a thriller! "Hot Dogs and Tacos" and "Ball Gobblers" had a pass for the 1st round of the Thursday night dodgeball playoffs, and it helped one of them reach the championship.

In the first round, "Salty Ballz" triumphed over the "Antibiotics" 6-3 to earn a second round match up with eventual champs, "Hot Dogs and Tacos". The "STDs" (Superior Trained Dodgeballers) were hoping to avenge a close regular season loss to their friends, "Hot Sauce". They came back to tie the match at 4 games apiece as time expired, forcing a deciding overtime game 9. Unfortunately for the "STDs", "Hot Sauce" rained on their parade.

"Hot Sauce" used the momentum from their overtime win to out duel the rested "Ball Gobblers", handing them their first loss of the season, 4-3.

"Hot Dogs and Tacos" got to match up against "Salty Ballz" and took an early lead. "Salty Ballz" fought back and made things a little interesting, but couldn't complete the come back and fell, 5-3.

In the championship, it seemed as though "Hot Sauce" finally ran out of gas. Playing in their third match in a row against the #1 seed didn't bode well. "Hot Dogs and Tacos" were in their 2nd match, and pulled away early before "Hot Sauce" won the final two games to close within 6-3.
