Dodge My Balls Redemption - League Champions!

Congratulations on a fantastic dodgeball season everyone! The playoff games came down to the wire, which shows how much everyone and every team improved over the course of the season.

Dodge My Balls and The Blue Ballers had three matchups during the regular season, with the first two being close and the last one not so much, but with The Blue Ballers winning all three to take 1st place heading into the Championship game. Dodge My Balls finally put it all together and played their best match of the season when it mattered most. After losing the first two games, they came back and won the next 4 to take a 4-2 lead. The Blue Ballers came back to make it 4-3, and with the seconds ticking away, had a 5-3 edge in people on the court in the final game. Dodge My Balls attacked, and each team had 2 on the court as time expired.... sudden death with the league championship on the line!

After another few minutes of furious back and forth, Leng of DMB managed to hit Nora's (The Blue Ballers) ankle to prevent a tiebreaker game and give Dodge My Balls some redemption after their 3 regular season defeats at the hands of The Blue Ballers. Congrats to both teams on a remarkable match and wonderful season!

In the battle for third place, Aim Low came out strong, taking the first few games and a 4-1 lead as the teams switched sides halfway through the match. Not to be intimidated, Los Sacramento Dodgers battled back and even the score at 4 with a couple minutes to go in the match. With one game to rule them all (or at least determine 3rd place), LSD took home the bronze. Another extremely close game, well played on both sides.
