Congratulations to "Making it Purple Reign" for defending their title!

In the final episode of our fall Wednesday night dodgeball season, "Making it Purple Reign" found the resolve to repeat as Sacramento dodgeball champions and at the same time, avenged an earlier loss at the hands of runner up, "Beans and White Rice".
Just two weeks prior, "Beans and White Rice" defeated the reigning champs, 4-3, to put a halt on their 17 match winning streak and deal them their first loss in two seasons. To pay them back, "Making it Purple Reign" dashed any hopes "Beans and White Rice" had of winning their first title, winning 6-2 in the Championship Game.
In our 2nd XOSO All-Star game, the Midtown division overcame the Old-Sac All-Stars 4-2 to earn the honor of best division of the season. There were lots of close games, and games that seemed to never end with both sides fighting to the finish.
In other games, "Out Like a Fat Kid" made it to the semi-finals, continuing their perfect season, before being ousted by the eventual champs 5-3. They defeated the "Ball Gobblers" in the first round, newcomers to the dodgeball scene.
The champions had to pass through "Ho No Mo" and "Out Like a Fat Kid" before meeting "Beans and White Rice" in the title game.
B&WR defeated their division rivals, "Team America" before facing off against "Not in My Face!" in a close matchup in the semi-finals.
"Not in My Face" faced a tough opponent in the first round, squeaking by "More Balls than Brains" 7-5 to move on and square off against B&WR.
Congratulations to the two time champs and everyone else making it a fantastic night!
