Congrats to Kickin Balls 'n' Takin Names!!!

After two narrow defeats earlier in the season, Kickin Balls 'n' Takin Names won a close one in extra innings to defeat the previously undefeated New Kids on the Balls.

KBnTN was up by one or two runs most of the game, but the NKOTB wouldn't let them pull away. NKOTB managed to rally and tie the score at 3 in the bottom of the 5th inning and, after a scoreless 6th, we went to extra innings to decide the league champion...

Kickin Balls 'n' Takin Names put up two runs in the top half of the inning with some impressive base running. In the bottom of the 7th, they stranded two base runners and held on to take the league championship.

Being great sports, and always down for a beer (or three), NKOTB joined the champions at On the "Y" to cap off a great kickball season.
